The importance of library as an institution has been realized. The Objectives of this study were (a) to investigate the present use of library by the students of Foundation University College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (b) to analyze the organizational set up of library for the purpose of effective learning (c) to identify the problems faced by the students in the use of library and (d) to give recommendations for effective use of library. The nature of this study was descriptive. The population of this study consisted of all the MA /M.Sc. level students. One hundred and eighty students of various programs were selected randomly as sample. A self developed questionnaire consisting of 10 items was used as instrument for data collection. It was concluded that the majority of the students hesitated to use the library because of the problems they faced during its use. ...people get when they walk into this library. Perfume and cologne smell lingers in the air. Tall ceilings with gigantic round light fixtures that hang down, with the lights dimmed. As I walked in, it was so calm and peaceful. Rows and rows of books. Magazines and books lying everywhere. The new books felt smooth, the old books made crinkly noises as you turned the pages and the old table had many rough spots. Artificial trees and plants stand in almost every corner of the library, giving it a unique and beautiful look. A magnificent oil painting, located over the fireplace made you feel at home. The librarian was young with auburn colored hair that she had up in a bun, glasses hanging on a multicolored chain to her chest and her dress was all flower print. The carpet is made thick and comfy so the sound of people walking by won’t disturb the focused students sitting in the library. I could hear nothing but the quiet peaceful sounds of paper turning and minds thinking at their best. Telephone ringing, copy machines and whispers is all you really hear in the library. All different ages of people go to the library to just relax and read in a calm setting environment because in libraries the noise is very minimal. The librarians are very kind and helpful. Quiet rooms were occupied by students preparing for a test. Different areas of the library were occupied by many high school and college students. The young adults get great use out of the library for use of the free internet......

The algorithm should require only little communication compared to the amount of computation it performs. At the same time the algorithm needs to be flexible enough to adapt to a changing environment, as this is the case in Ad Hoc Grids. A further requirement is that the algorithm can be adapted to and is suitable for transaction-oriented simulation. Management algorithm [1] but at the same time is suitable for loosely coupled parallel systems like Computing Grids. Similar to the Elastic Time algorithm state vectors are used to describe the current states of all LPs plus a set of functions to determine the output vector but the Shock Resistant Time Warp algorithm does not require a global state. Instead each LP separately tries to optimise its parameters towards the best performance. And similar to the Adaptive Memory Management algorithm the optimism is controlled indirectly be setting artificial memory limits but for the Shock Resistant Time Warp algorithm each LP will limit its own memory instead of using an overall memory limit for the whole simulator. The Shock Resistant Time Warp algorithm is a fully distributed approach to controlling the optimism in Time Warp that requires no additional communication between the LPs [2].
