He blinks, and there it is again.

A shapeless man is slumped on the ground. He doesn't recognize him. He doesn't recognize any of them. He's only aware of a feeling vaguely akin to satisfaction ringing in his hollow chest when he turns away from the sluggishly bleeding corpse, eerily calm and composed with a slight upwards tilt at the edge of his lips.

And it scares him.

Because this is nauseating, disgusting, and for all of the crimes that happens on the streets, none of them were quite as violent as this. He wants to go to his father, where it's warm and safe, who tells him 'Everything is gonna be alright.'

And he really wants to believe those words so much except it never is, never works–

He doesn't want to see this.

He doesn't want to see the way the screaming man's skin peeled back so easily to reveal goblets and rivulets of ruby-red blood, doesn't want to see how easy it was to snap his fingers and watch his bones grind into dust, doesn't want to see how he simply lowered his hand and the man's body just seized and distorted and ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod what'sgoingongetmeoutgetmeout I'mscaredthiscan'tbehappeningit'snotit'snot-

A low whistle sounds behind him, and a warm hand lands on his shoulder. He opens his mouth to scream out his terror, except nothing comes out.

"Tsk tsk, what did this one do?" Despite the chiding tone that he had adopted, he could feel the pride radiating off him.

He responds with a voice that is, but isn't his own.

"He's a warning to the rest of them." A casual gesture at the bloody pulp on the ground. He feels nauseous and tries to close his eyes, except they remain stubbornly open despite his fervent wishes. "A warning that I will not tolerate their transgressions a second time."

Horror envelopes him like a shroud when he finally registers these…...

Angkor Wat

...Angkor Wat (Khmer: អង្គរវត្ត) is a Hindu, then subsequently Buddhist temple complex in Cambodia and the largest religious monument in the world. The temple was built by the Khmer King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century in Yasodharapura (Khmer: យសោធរបុរៈ, present-day Angkor), the capital of the Khmer Empire, as his state temple and eventual mausoleum. Breaking from the Shaivism tradition of previous kings, Angkor Wat was instead dedicated to Vishnu. As the best-preserved temple at the site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious center since its foundation – first Hindu, then Buddhist. The temple is at the top of the high classical style of Khmer architecture. It has become a symbol of Cambodia,[1] appearing on its national flag, and it is the country's prime attraction for visitors. Angkor Wat combines two basic plans of Khmer temple architecture: the temple mountain and the later galleried temple, based on early Dravidian Architecture, with key features such as the Jagati. It is designed to represent Mount Meru, home of the devas in Hindu mythology: within a moat and an outer wall 3.6 kilometres (2.2 mi) long are three rectangular galleries, each raised above the next. At the centre of the temple stands a quincunx of towers. Unlike most Angkorian temples, Angkor Wat is oriented to the west; scholars are divided as to the significance of this. The temple is admired for the grandeur and harmony of the architecture, its extensive bas-reliefs, and for...

Wells was a domestic servant and battled for justice on behalf of the black community. The author also states the true reason behind the treatment the African American man received. Ida was arguing about influencing the African Americans to stand up for themselves and fight back.

Ti Turning

...demands of the worlds metal industry. Ti Scrap vs Ti Turning Titanium is a key Raw Material to Manufacture Ferro-Titanium 65-70% Grade. The capacity of Nimji Plant is to Manufacture 200 Tons/Month. At present we are Manufacturing on an average 40 Tons/Month as we don’t have orders and our competitors are selling FeTi much Cheaper. It is being observed that if we reduce the price by $0.1/kg we will be competitive in market. 160 Tons/ Month Of Capacity is being Un-utilized. This Un-utilized capacity which is an liability now can be a asset if the plant runs at maximum capacity. For the production of FeTi 65-70% grade, 70% of Ti is required. Hence to produce 200 Tons of FeTi 65-70% grade, we require 140 Tons of Titanium. At present we are using 50%Ti Scrap and 50% Ti Turnings. The cost of Ti turning and Ti scrap is Rs 190/kg and Rs 322/kg respectively. The Present Cost of Titanium in the production of 200 tons FeTi (65-70%) will be Rs 3,58,40,000. If we use only Ti Turning the cost of Titanium in the production of FeTi (65-70%) will be Rs 2,66,00,000. Thus if we use only Ti turning our Per Month saving will be Rs 92,40,000. Drawbacks of Ti Turning Titanium turning comes inherently with impurities such as oil, grease and dust. If these turning are used without processing, oil gets burned and is converted into carbon. Thus the Carbon in the final product increases to 5-7%, whereas the desired level of carbon is 0.1%. In order to use Ti turning, it must be......

Angkor Wat

...What caused the decline of Angkor Wat? Angkor Wat was Angkor was the capital of Khmer Empire from 802 to 1431 AD. It was ruled by ‘god-kings’ and spread its influence and customs through a large part of Southeast Asia. Society was firmly divided into two: the great landowners and the ordinary people. Cambodia was then, as now, an agricultural country. The Khmer had mastered the art of water control and took advantage of regular monsoonal rainfall to create huge irrigation systems. In this way they were able to surplus of rice for export. Trade influenced Khmer society and India became a dominant cultural influence. The Khmer wrote in Sanskrit, the Ancient language of India, as well as in their own language. Most kings practised Hinduism, although some kings became Buddhists in the Mahayana tradition of India and Tibet. The first cause for decline was of Angkor Wat was that Angkor was at war with neighbouring Siam (western Thailand) for over a century. Finally in 1431 AD, the Siamese besieged the city for seven months and eventually took it. They destroyed the temples, taking statues and images back to their capital. A Siamese Prince was made king, while the Khmer king fled east towards Phnom Penh. The evidence for this event comes from Siamese texts and archaeological evidence. At Angkor, the temples were damaged and sacred images defaced. However, it is almost impossible to date this decline precisely, although all scholars agree that no new buildings of stone were......
