it is the time of summer internship. Life again changed to as it was during my job after graduation. I started to sleep a little earlier in night and wake up a lot earlier in the mornings.
A little time is left after whole day at office and invariably goes into watching movies, chatting with friends, listening to songs or just aimlessly browsing through facebook. Temperature is rising with each passing day. Time in office passes very slow and now i seem to understand Einstein theory of time dilation quite better now.
Life in hostel also changed a little as the summer internship started. Almost everybody ask you the same questions for first few days - what is your project about? how many hot chics are there in office?any chances of PPO? blah blah. Sometimes I have to answer the same thing 10 times a day. Many interns from other MBA colleges lodged in our college-hostel and we get to see new faces in the mess during breakfast and dinner. One thing which did not change was taste of mess-food which is as horrible as ever. Jhaji and sharmaji seem to be the real dark-knights, coming in late nights to give some solace to hungry soles.
A never changing topic of the small chitchats during dinner is - girls. If somebody sees some girl wearing hot-pants, sweating out in gym then it is his moral duty to entertain others and ask if they also saw her; Then goes on the same process of getting to know her name and trying to find her out on facebook. If she is very pretty (read hot) then you can actually hear a lot of aahs and oohs from all the corners. some take the responsibility of defining her character and others start to guess whether she already has boyfriend or not. If some guy make some inroads and starts talking to her then other guys would say: look at that guy, looks frustu to me.
For sports aficionados, the other hot topic of chats (sometimes heated discussion) is…...

OBJECTIVE & SCOPE A cruise ship or cruise liner is a passenger ship used for pleasure voyages, where the voyage itself and the ship's amenities are a part of the experience, as well as the different destinations along the way. Transportation is not the prime purpose, as cruise ships operate mostly on routes that return passengers to their originating port, so the ports of call are usually in a specified region of a continent. There are even "cruises to nowhere" or "nowhere voyages" where the ship makes 2-3 day round trips without any ports of call. Together with Norwegian Cruise Line, Star Cruises is the third largest cruise line in the world operating a combined fleet of 18 ships with approximately 35,000 lower berths, with cruises to over 200......

Final Project World Religions Report

...World Religions Report Antonio Smith HUM/130 April 28, 2012 David Latoundji ` The following is a review about the religion of Islam. Islam began in what is now Saudi Arabia, and like Christianity and Judaism, traces its history back to Abraham. In the Islam religion the belief is there is no god but God and Muhammad is his messenger. God or Allah is the focus of the Islamic religion. Muhammad is not worshiped in the Islam religion, but the life and death of Muhammad is regarded as very important to the religion. The sacred book in the Islam religion is the Holy Qur’an. It is stated that Muhammad received the Qur’an through a series of revelations from God. The Holy Qur’an is considered to be a book of perfection in the religion of Islam. The teachings of the Qur’an can be summarized as teachings of belief of God, prayer and worship, and performing good deeds, like helping people in need whether Muslim or not. The name of the site I visited is The Islamic Center of Lawton. It is a Mosque located on the South side of Lawton, Oklahoma, where I reside. The physical address is 913 SW F Ave. The building does not appear to be a typical place of worship. It is a building that basically looks like an average office building. When I walked in I automatically recognized the many prayer rugs on a padded section of the floor, and copies of the Qur’an and books with Arabic writing on them on bookshelves. I also noticed a picture of the Ka’bah and The Great......

Final Project Planning Report

...GLADSTONE AIRPORT PROJECT PLANNING REPORT PROJECT PLANNING REPORT Upgrade of Gladstone Airport Background Gladstone Airport services the Gladstone region located some 500 kilometres north of Brisbane and comprising three former local government areas – the harbour city of Gladstone, and the Calliope and Miriam Vale shires. The airport is currently operated by the Gladstone Regional Council following recent council amalgamations and dissolution of the Gladstone-Calliope Aerodrome Board on 14 March 2008. The airport caters primarily for business travellers and freight activities associated with the region’s developed and emerging industrial complexes. Regular public transport (RPT) services are currently provided by QantasLink utilising primarily Dash 8 Series Q400 aircraft. Continuing growth can be expected with over $14 billion worth of projects committed and/or planned in the next 5 years and with large scale stocks of land set aside for longer term expansion in the Gladstone State Development Area. Since 1998 airport expansion has been guided by a Development Plan which the Aerodrome Board updated in 2004 to take particular account of current and likely future aircraft types and stronger growth in passenger numbers than previously forecast. The forecasts prepared for the 2004 plan envisaged that the majority of RPT services would be provided in the short term by the Dash 8-300 aircraft and in the medium to long term by regular scheduled services by 70 seat aircraft such......

...BUSN460 Senior Project Final Report and Presentation Guide Overview: The object of this course and this project is to provide you with a realistic situation that you are likely to face in the real world business environment. You'll be working with limited information, limited support from your client, within a limited time frame - and yet, you have to get up to speed in a new area quickly, and make informed professional recommendations based on your research and analysis. You and your team have been hired by CanGo as consultants to help them improve their fast-growing business. The management team at CanGo is busy, not entirely organized and somewhat overwhelmed by their success. They are looking to you as an objective, intelligent, experienced business person - and to your combined experience as a team to help them figure out what they should do in several areas of their business. CanGo can provide very little guidance to you - if they knew what they were doing they wouldn't have asked you for help! CanGo is your customer, and they are paying you a great deal of money, so the tone of your work on the project should be that of information addressed to the Board of Directors of this company, and it should be the best professional work of your (academic) career. You should approach this project as if your job depended on it - as if it were paying your mortgage and grocery bill. This project is your new job. In previous courses you have been given specific guidelines,......

...Project Report - Working Capital Management WORKING CAPITAL - Meaning of Working Capital Capital required for a business can be classified under two main categories via, 1)     Fixed Capital 2)     Working Capital         Every business needs funds for two purposes for its establishment and to carry out its day- to-day operations. Long terms funds are required to create production facilities through purchase of fixed assets such as p&m, land, building, furniture, etc. Investments in these assets represent that part of firm’s capital which is blocked on permanent or fixed basis and is called fixed capital. Funds are also needed for short-term purposes for the purchase of raw material, payment of wages and other day – to- day expenses etc. These funds are known as working capital. In simple words, working capital refers to that part of the firm’s capital which is required for financing short- term or current assets such as cash, marketable securities, debtors & inventories.
