1.2 Objectives of the study

The general objective is to access the “Employee Training and Development on BRAC Bank Ltd.” in Bangladesh.

1.3 Methodology

In this study, exploratory research was undertaken to gain insights and understanding of the overall the “Employee Training and Development on BRAC Bank Ltd.” in Bangladesh to determine their efficiency. After that a more comprehensive conclusive has been undertaken to fulfill the main purpose of the study.

1.4 Source of data
There are mainly two sources to collect the information. To do all these things we need much information. Therefore, we have collected this information from the primary and as well as secondary sources to complete our report. a) Primary sources: ❖ Direct observation to the modern Bank organization. ❖ Face to face conversation with managerial officer of the organization. b) Secondary Sources: Required information was collected mainly from the secondary sources.…...

There were also other authority figures that I followed, which they taught me to play by the rule and be respectful to others. The United States Navy also played a major key role in shaping my ethics in my early years of the military. I served 21 years and retired from the United States Navy. The Master Chiefs and Officers with higher ranking authority would put the fear in the junior personnel if rules were not followed. ...The first thing I would do in the training seminar is a documentary program. This is where employees would learn about each foreign country’s history, culture, institutions, geography, and economics. I would use videotaped and Web-based presentations to help the employees get a visual understanding of each company’s culture. (Kreitner, 2009, p. 107) In doing this, I could focus on each aspect of the business and how it is interpreted in a foreign country. For example, I would have them watch the previous day’s news on the Web so if a client wanted to talk about current news, my sales personnel and executives would know what they are talking about. You cannot afford to sound like you don’t know anything about the foreign country you are doing business with. The study seeks to focus on the employee training-performance relationship. Design/Methodology: A literature review on employee training and employee performance provides the basis for the research model and hypotheses. A self-completion questionnaire survey, involving 96 respondents from two small organizations was used to gather data. Findings: Findings indicate a positive relationship between training and employee performance. Also the findings show a lack of training in employees in these 2 small organizations. Research limitations/implications: The sample was limited to two organizations in Jordan.
