CM Punk report

Phillip Jack "Phil" Brooks[1] (born October 26, 1978),[4] better known by his ring name CM Punk, is an American retiredprofessional wrestler. He is currently signed to WWE, but abruptly left the company on January 27, 2014. He is titled in the company as "the longest-reigning WWE Champion of the modern era", having held the title for 434 days from November 20, 2011 to January 27, 2013. Punk is officially recognized as the sixth-longest reigning champion of all time.[10][11]

In June, after pinning WWE Champion John Cena on Raw,[138] Rey Mysterio at Capitol Punishment[139]and finally Alberto Del Rio again in a contendership match (which included Mysterio) all within one week, Punk revealed his contract would expire at Money in the Bank and vowed to leave the company with theWWE Championship; some of his speeches and mannerisms echoed his final months with Ring of Honor. After making a scathing on-air speech concerning the way in which WWE is run and its owner Vince McMahon, he was given a storyline suspension from televised WWE events[140] but was reinstated the following week on Cena's insistence.[141] Upon his return, Punk ceased to appear with the remaining members of Nexus and the group quietly dissolved that month.[142] This helped transition him from a villainous character back to being afan-favorite. Two weeks later, at Money in the Bank, CM Punk defeated John Cena to become the WWE Champion on his final night under contract with WWE.[141]

On July 21, Punk made a surprise appearance at a joint WWE-Mattel panel at the San Diego Comic Con, to mock new Chief Operating Officer Triple H and offer WWE Championship tournament finalist Rey Mysterio a match for his WWE Championship, as long as it was in Punk's hometown, Chicago.[143][144] Punk appeared at July 23's All American Wrestling show, showing respect to Gregory Iron, a wrestler…...

...Exercising while at work and the Health Benefits Unit 6 Project: Should Employers A lot Time to Exercise while at work Mary Jackson Kaplan University CM 220 College Composition II Professor Connie Maker June 25, 2013 Exercising While at work and the Health Benefits Should Employers A lot Time to Exercise while at work As we enter into the work force we are entering into a world of over worked, underappreciated group of people. We tend to become lazy stressed and depressed which can lead to negative impact on both our work and home life. There are studies that show working to much can lead to depression, stress and unhappy employees. Employers need to keep an eye on its employees and come up with a way to help reduce the depression, stress and turning unhappy employees into happy ones. Employees on average spend 8 to 12 hours a day at work; if they are not allotted time to exercise and help to reduce stress, depression then it will lead to unhappy employees. Employees who are happy tend to enjoy coming to work and production is generally up and there is less stress and arguments at work. Lack of exercise can lead to many health issues like diabetes as described by the American diabetes association. So exercising can lead to weight loss and a health body which will in turn help to lower diabetes and blood pressure. We need to get employers involved in a program to help with this on a daily basis. So how do we do this without a huge impact on Employers......

Punks with Cockscomb and Full Metal Jackets

...Punks with cockscomb and full metal jackets My personal opinion on this case is that punks should be allowed to be punks. Each generation have its own style and way to live. You can’t deny the youth to be themselves; this would result in a new generation of country-loving nutcase’s adults. Which I think we already had one generation to many of right? If you want your guardians to allow you to express in whatever way you want. Ask them, challenge them, torture them until you get an answer how their parents reacted when they found out their children listened to Pink Floyd, Jimmy Hendrix, The Doors, Led zeppelin and so on. Their parents would scream shout tear their hair out cry over how their small angel children could be seduced by this devil music. And still your parents as the tiny evil creatures they are sneak away listen to the music they thought fit to them best. There loving helpful careful parents thought they kids had become mentally deranged. When they wore “cool” outfits and listened to “cool” music. And now maybe you will be allowed to listen to the music you want to listen to ;) Just ask they are not that evil sly monsters you think they are (or at least most of them have a tiny bit of goodness far down into the abyss of their heart). They might even remember how it was like to be a kid back in the stone ages. Just a bird that have lost its wings (Broken down angel by Nazareth) Red strings of the cotton maze of life. She stretched after......

Soda & Cm

...SODA & CM Definitions SODA: aka Strategic Options Development and Analysis, it is a framework for “designing problem solving interventions” using cognitive mapping. CM: aka Cognitive Mapping, is a modelling technique to represent a problem space by a series of interconnected casual maps. Purpose SODA enables a group or individual to construct a graphical representation of a problematic situation, and thus explore options and their ramifications with respect to a complex system of goals or objectives. It helps groups to arrive at a negotiated agreement about how to act to resolve the situation based on CM. It tends to generate increasingly rich models, rather than move towards abstraction or simplicity. And it sees strategic management in terms of changing thinking and action rather than planning. Furthermore, it aims to develop high levels of ownership for a problem through the attention paid to problem definition and negotiation. Etc. General steps 1. Planning meetings: Where the project is set up and an initial view of the problem / situation is achieved. At this point it is important to decide who the participants will be and what the outputs will be in order to manage expectations. 2. Client interviews: Here the key people involved with the issue are interviewed, in a relaxed format, for an hour or so to obtain their individual views of the problem area / situation. 3. Development of causal maps: Causal mapping is used to get depict the......

Comparison of the Characters in Clown Punk and Give

...signifying similar emotions and purpose being displayed. When analysed carefully, you can notice a lot of identical techniques used by the different poets. For example all three use some type of form of rhyme, half-rhymes or even rhyming couplets, this works especially well in ‘Hunchback’ for example ‘rockery […] hunchbacked in mockery’ this emphasis the point of how the character is being treated as a sham without the utter respect given; which happens to be the same sort of disrespectful and mimicry semantic field towards the other two poems as well for example in the ‘Clown punk’ ‘His dyed brain […] and let it rain’ the technique of using rhyming couplets at the very gives a more memorable and impaction ending, this give the reader a dramatic finish to reflect upon. As well there is the rhyming couplet at the very end of ‘Give’ ‘That’s big of you […] I beg of you’ this is also similar to the ending of the ‘clown punk’ but it also contains a sort of sarcastic reaction from the voice ending it on a dreary note. The tones on all poems are a similar type: bleak, monotonous and oppressive, but each carrying a different meaning, teaching and moral to the reader. The tonality of ‘The hunchback’ gives off something that sadly happens every day… The poem shows the brutality of everyday life that happens to be the truth. It displays a certain type of cruel and insulting poem focusing on one......

...heaa CMS Expansion to Bundled Payments Jimmy Lei HCS/455 July 14, 2014 AuRiesheaua Bell CMS Expansion to Bundled Payments There are many articles that discusses different issues in health care reform. Recently, an article discussed about how hospitals, nursing homes and healthcare providers are ready to join Medicare’s test of bundled payments. According to the CMS website bundled payments is defined as, “Four broadly defined models of care, which link payments for multiple services beneficiaries receive during an episode of care.” (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, 2014) The models consists of different focuses, which include acute care inpatient hospitalization, retrospective and prospective arrangements. The idea behind bundled payment is to increase quality of care and lower costs for Medicare. The fee for service model has been scrutinized by many who believe that it has perverse incentives for organizations to not efficiently provide care. According to the article, a reported 100 organizations are currently participating in the program; however the success of the organizations are unclear. The bundled payment initiative was introduced in 2013 under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act as an effort to shift financing of healthcare away from paying for each procedure. Cms and the Controversial Preventative Maintenance Mandate

...Kyle Havens BMET 44000 Prof. Rachel Meyer 10/5/2014 Assignment #2 CMS and the Controversial Preventative Maintenance Mandate When I first opened up assignment #2, I noticed the topic was CMS and that was a good thing because I currently work for a medical delivery company that deals with the CMS on a daily basis. This research into their organization would allow me to understand them a little further than what I already know. CMS stand for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services which covers a very large portion of the United States. It covers not only people, but organizations, businesses, etc. Through Medicare, Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program and the Health Insurance Marketplace, it covers approximately 100 million people! (CMS, 2014) The CMS is a federal agency that lies within the Department of Health and Human Services and their main focus is to administer the Medicare program as well as work with state agencies to administer the Medicaid and State Children’s Health Insurance Program. Considering the magnitude of what CMS covers, almost every healthcare facility in the country falls under the CMS wing if they accept Medicare or Medicaid as a payment for their services. Because of this, CMS has the “right” to pass any mandate o requirements as they see fit. Because the CMS is responsible for over 100 million people’s Medicare, Medicaid, etc. accounts, they can provide mandates and memos to various departments within healthcare......

Html vs Cms

...a domain and develop a site by either using code (HTML/CSS) or a CMS. CMS, or Content Management System, is a Graphical User Interface (GUI) management service to create websites, which does not acquire any technical training or expertise by the user. CMS offers features like creating pages and navigation, modifying the content on the pages, analyzing stats, and a lot more. You can also have an unlimited number of pages and a full site-search engine. A CMS comes in many different forms, the top three CMS services are WORDPRESS, JOOMLA and DRUPAL. Users usually use CMS for creating blogs, Personal websites, portals, forums, resource directories and social networking websites. On the other hand, HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language, it’s the set of codes inserted in a file intended for display on a browser page. The code tells the web browser how to display a Web page’s words and images. Each individual code is referred to as an element or a tag. Some elements come in pairs that indicate when some display effect is to begin and when it’s to end. Unlike CMS, HTML coding can take a while to learn and master. Both HTML/CSS and CMS are methods to create websites on the World Wide Web, and load them with content that could be text, images, videos, etc. The big difference between the two methods is the amount of control you have over the creation of the website. For example, CMS is very easy to use and doesn’t need any technical knowledge,......

Punk Rock Compare and Contast

...Miranda Rhodes Professor Whelan English 102 Sec A October 17, 2010 1970s Punk subculture Vs. Mainstreaming of Punk Today In the 1970’s the punk subculture evolved and shocked the world. They flaunted their anti-conforming and anti-government beliefs. Punks everywhere stood their ground, and made it known to the world what they deeply believed in. In the decade since the punk revolution, they have become common in the realm of society. In comparison to the original years of the punk subculture, so many aspects of have changed to make it an ordinary part of the mainstream of society. Music has always been the soul of what defines a punk. In the beginning, the new and thriving bands were the Sex Pistols and Clash. Today, popular punk bands like Good Charlotte and Green Day have kept punk rock music popular. Nowadays, it is familiar to see woman members of punk, a punk living in the suburbs, going to college, or establishing a career. In the past, advocating for their future was not a goal for the punk community, but today that has all changed. In punk history, many of its ideologies were counterproductive and certain ideologies left punks believing they did not have any hope for a promising future. Today, some members have established positive outlooks on their futures, and this has opened the door to positive pathways for some. However, many characteristics of punk have remained consistently the same. Punks’ ever evolving music industry, their rapidly growing diverse......

The Formation and Development of Punk Rock

...Strakhov 1 Taylor Strakhov Professor Brian Torff MU 102: The History and Development of Rock 5/6/15 The Formation and Development of Punk Rock When the word “Punk” is thrown around in conversation it usually is interpreted differently by different people. A general definition of punk rock typically associates it with extremely loud noises, unorthodox fashion style, and often offends the people who hear it. This is not necessarily all true. Yes punk rock is loud and it may offend people, but it does have a purpose and conveys its own meaning. Punk formed and developed as a reaction against oppressive figures of authority and as a musical and social outlet for teens that strayed away from the mainstream. Punk rock music has an extensive history. “While punk’s anti-authoritarian and rebellious imagery has its antecedents in both the 50s and 60s, the music itself was very much a product of its environment and decade - the 70s” (encyclopedia). The attitude of punk has been around almost twenty years before the music and the music was able to communicate the messages of athese rebellious teenagers. The roots of punk are disputed constantly. Some believe it started in U.K., while others claim it started in New York City. Regardless of where punk started it still has the same foundation anywhere in the world. John Savage brilliantly explains this concept of punk in Pre-Punk Rock: Strakhov 2 In fact, what became known as Punk during 1975 and 1976 had been floating around......

Punk Movement

...POPMUS 305 The Punk movement as a reaction to stagnant music scene of the 70s Ivan Stevanovic 3461726 The Punk movement is often seen as a reaction to what was regarded as a blown up and stagnant, self-indulging music scene in the mid-70s. In wider perspective, it is considered not merely as a music genre, but more as a complex mixture of social, cultural, rebellious upheaval of the marginal, disillusioned young white generation, first in the US and UK and then in the rest of the western world. This essay will try to explore these statements and find out whether any of the two can be considered as the only cause for the emergence of punk. MUSIC INFLUENCES AND BACKGROUND One would say that any form of modern music in its initial phase is a protest, by default. That could be supported by numerous examples throughout the music history when rebellious young artists were crossing the boundaries of the conventional music genres and styles and often rejected from the music establishment. The stylistic music origins of punk could be found in second half of the twentieth century. First it was rock’n’roll of the fifties that shook the post war society with its wild rhythms and raw cords played on electric guitars amplified to produce more “noise”. The other influences were R&B, country and rockabilly and in the 60s many sub-genres that emerged on the rock music scene like: garage rock, frat rock, psychedelic rock, pub rock, glam rock, and proto-punk. Although its......
