I am a very motivating person. I enjoy helping people to feel good about them. I enjoy being helful to others. I believe in been having everything organize. Other skill that I am highly score are Intrapersonal, Bodily-kinesthetic, and Logical. I will keep doing the thing that I know that I have accomplished in the future.

2. Describe how each practice activity reinforced or contradicted something about yourself

Each practice reinforced me in all my areas of skill. I always look at thing from other’s point of view. You have to have an open mind in all situations. I can see if a person is in a good or bad mood, or if the person has good intentions at the beginning. I just had an experience this week as me and my wife are looking for a new made at the house, there is one that we tried past Friday but when I saw her at the beginning I knew something was wrong, and I was right, she was not a good person at all. When I can face with a person in a bad mood, I always ask if they need a listen. All you have to do is smile, speak, and let them know that thing will get better. Show that individual that you care and their whole day will change for the best. I always evaluate my thinking before I speak. Sometime a person can say the wrong thing at the wrong time. Always think before you speech. Always be will to cooperate in a group. Sometime…...

Attributes and Skills of a Systems Analyst

...The role of a systems analyst is vital to the success of any organization. In this role, the systems analyst is responsible for being the “liaison” between the technology department and all other departments within the company (Laudon & Laudon, 2011, p. 68). There are several key skills and characteristics necessary to be an effective systems analyst. The person performing this role needs to have excellent communication skills, planning and organizational skills, and managerial skills. While the systems analyst must constantly continue his education as it pertains to new software and hardware systems, there are other roles an analyst is expected to fill. The analyst needs to establish a working relationship with other departments. This allows the analyst to obtain data to assist with the department’s information technology needs. A characteristic that would be demonstrated in this area is that of teamwork. The analyst has to put the needs of the company first and be able to interact with all types of people (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, n.d., p. 5). The position relies on the ability to solve problems within the business. Therefore, the analyst needs to have a clear understanding of how the business operates. By meeting with the various departments, the analyst is able to understand what problem exists and what options are available to resolve the problem (Laudon & Laudon, 2011, p.381). The analyst needs to decide which option will work best for the department...

...need to get 50/88, which is not 50%, but is in fact 57%. By ignoring the question, you have put yourself in a position whereby your grade point average has now risen just because you did not attempt one part question. Had you attempted to get even two or three marks for this part question, your average would have remained closer to the overall pass mark. I often mark scripts that contain quite a good answer to a question, suggesting that the candidate is clearly capable. However, the answer is insufficiently focused on the marks that are available and, as a result, the candidate does not do justice to the knowledge that they obviously have. For example, Question 3b in the Paper P3 June 2010 exam asked for the competencies that a business analyst would require to undertake their proposed new role. The answers I marked were generally good but usually only mentioned three competencies at most. Although their observations were reasonable, it was difficult for me to give more than three or four marks. This was a shame because it seemed likely – from their narrative style – that the candidate could have written more, but did not do so and therefore lost the opportunity to gain a further three marks. This might only be three marks, but it was actually 43% of the total marks available for that part question. Therefore, focus carefully on the total marks available and make sure you deliver an answer for which the full mark allocation could be given. Read the question very carefully –......

...Reexamination and revise of the empirical result from SANJEEV BHOJRAJ, PAUL HRIBAR, MARC PICCONI, and JOHN McINNIS: Making Sense of Cents: An Examination of Firms Shenglun Shi 2011 M.S. Information Systems, CIMS, New York University I. Theoretical Foundation: The trading strategy implied by Bhojraj, Hribar, Picconi and McInnis’s paper from The Journal of Finance VOL. LXIV, NO. 5 • OCTOBER 2009, was to distinguish the missers, who missed analyst forecasts by one cent, and the beaters, who beat analyst forecasts by one cent. The original Idea suggested that the stock market performance of the missers will outperform that of the beaters in the long run due to the myopic behavior of beatercompanies’ management. My strategy was to simplify and replicate the result by removing most of the other restrictions placed in the original paper, such as the restriction of market cap and industry. My construction of the strategy is as follows: Pick up the S&P 100 composite index stocks and compare the analyst estimation of Earnings Per Share (EPS) to the announced EPS by individual company. If the actual EPS beat the estimation by one cent (The Beaters), we sell short the stock in the threeyear horizon. If the actual EPS miss the estimation by one cent (The Missers), we buy the stock and hold for three years. Note that the portfolio of investment is equally weighted between all component stocks. Further examination of the data shows somehow very contrasting result: For the beaters, it......

...You Are an Investment Analyst Accounting Management ACC 557 December 10, 2012 Analyze each company’s history, product / services, major customers, major suppliers, and leadership and provide a synopsis of each company. Pepsi-Cola began as a drink developed by a pharmacist named Caleb Bradham in his drugstore in 1893. The soft drink was made to be a tonic to aid in digestion and as a refreshing drink that gives an energy boost. This concoction made of pepsin and kola nuts was originally called “Brad’s Drink” named after its inventor, but was later changed to Pepsi-Cola to be more marketable. Originally, this beverage was sold in drug stores and at soda fountains, but was later sold in bottled form to facilitate mass distribution. The Great Depression was a major setback for many American companies and there was no exception for Pepsi. However, the company strived to remain strong and offered its product for five cents in the mid thirties while touting that their product offered twice as much for half the price of Coke’s product. During this time their ad campaigns and marketing tactics worked and their company continued to remain profitable despite a harsh economic climate. Pepsi marketed its products to virtually everyone, young and old, but they often utilized creative marketing tactics to entice new customers to try their products. In the mid 1940’s Pepsi began a marketing campaign to gain more popularity with African American customers whom the company...

...____________________________________________________________ ____________ 2. Q. No. 12 Write short notes on: Answer 2: i) Technical Analysis: It is basically the method used to analyze securities and make investment decisions fall into two very broad categories: fundamental analysis and technical analysis. Technical analysis takes a completely different approach. It does not care one bit about the "value" of a company or a commodity. Technicians who are called as chartists are only interested in the price movements in the market. Technical analysis can be used on a timeframe of weeks, days or even minutes. In short it is a method of evaluating securities by analyzing the statistics generated by market activity, such as past prices and volume. Technical analysts do not attempt to measure a security's intrinsic value, but instead use charts and other tools to identify patterns that can suggest future activity Technicians believe that all the information they need about a stock can be found in its charts. Criticism of technical analysis stems from the efficient market hypothesis, which states that the market price is always the correct one, making any historical analysis useless. One of the most important concepts in technical analysis is that of a trend which is the general direction that a security is headed. There are three types of trends. They are: • Up trends • Down trends • Sideways/horizontal trends. The field of......

...Netflix slowly began rolling out its content to subscribers through a video streaming offering. The innovation was completing the vision its founder had when creating the Company as illustrated in his famous quote: “Eventually in the very long term, it's unlikely that we'll be on plastic media. So, we've always known that, that's why we named the Company Netflix and not DVDs by Mail."5 The timing of the move coincided with an increase in broadband penetration and the rollout of high speed 3G wireless networks combined with the emergence of high quality graphic streaming capabilities on laptops and other media devices such as video game consoles. This move to streaming was well regarded by subscribers, technology enthusiasts, and Wall Street analysts alike. Most everyone agreed that just as CDs had gone the way of the dodo with the emergence of MP3s, so too would the DVD disappear with the rise of internet video streaming. Netflix’s established DVD-by-mail business was a critical assets in making the leap into the video streaming market. Ten years of experience had given the company time to develop one of the most sophisticated recommendations engines that existed on the internet, and its marketing team had refined their pages continuously to optimize the user experience. Success in streaming, however, was far from a slam dunk and plenty of other players had failed when trying to enter this market before Netflix. Like its entry in to the DVD-by-mail business, Netflix was......

A Systems Analyst

...IT professional who specializes in analyzing, designing and implementing information systems. Systems analysts assess the suitability of information systems in terms of their intended outcomes and liaise with end users, software vendors and programmers in order to achieve these outcomes.[1] A systems analyst is a person who uses analysis and design techniques to solve business problems using information technology.[2] Systems analysts may serve as change agents who identify the organizational improvements needed, design systems to implement those changes, and train and motivate others to use the systems. Although they may be familiar with a variety of programming languages, operating systems, and computer hardware platforms, they do not normally involve themselves in the actual hardware or software development. They may be responsible for developing cost analysis, design considerations, staff impact amelioration, and implementation timelines. A systems analyst is typically confined to an assigned or given system and will often work in conjunction with a business analyst. These roles, although having some overlap, are not the same. A business analyst will evaluate the business need and identify the appropriate solution and, to some degree, design a solution without diving too deep into its technical components, relying instead on a systems analyst to do so. A systems analyst will often evaluate code, review scripting and, possibly, even modify such to some......
